Shortage of precipitant

The current shortage of precipitants presents us all with unprecedented challenges. In particular, iron-based precipitants and chloride-containing aluminum compounds are currently only available to a limited extent.

However, it is good to know that equivalent alternatives are available for most applications. Aluminum sulphate, for example, is also suitable for phosphate precipitation and is still readily available here. We also have products that are available for cleaning your drinking, fresh and waste water.

However, we recommend that you do not simply replace product A with product B, but rather contact us and get advice on whether a product change is easily possible. The dosing quantity or the dosing point may have to be adjusted to ensure good performance.
