BIOTOL® AKUT is an innovative multi-component product with an immediate positive effect on the settling behavior of activated sludge in biological wastewater treatment.
In emergencies, it acts as a flocculant and immediately forms compact, shear-stable flocs characterized by a faster settling velocity. This effectively prevents potential sludge washout during high influent flows or poor sludge settling properties.
Additionally, suspended solids are effectively bound in the secondary clarifier, leading to improved water clarity. BIOTOL® AKUT is used in biological wastewater treatment and delivers exceptional performance very quickly and economically.
BIOTOL® AKUT is dosed undiluted and complies with the requirements of DWA Standard A 202.
